ITALIN TECHNOLOGIES SOLUTION
Italin Technologies put together a proposal to develop a strategic collaboration with Enterprise Blueprints, a solution that cut’ management time per recruit’ by 53% and significantly reduced ‘cost per hire.’

The Italin Technologies Resource Manager is in charge of the full recruitment process, which, in the case of EB, included –

  • Assisting the line manager in the development of the job description.

  • Develop the recruitment plan in collaboration with the line manager and the managing director.

  • Sourcing and pre-screening candidates while utilizing the internal network.

  • Organizing interviews with both line managers and candidates – the resource manager has access to the line managers’ diary.

  • Compiling interview feedback from the line manager and the candidate.

  • Chairing the conversation with the line manager and MD about the next steps – agreeing on action

  • Negotiate your offer with the candidate.

  • Produce and send the offer letter.

  • Gather the necessary documentation and references; provide feedback to the line manager.

CLIENT KNOWLEDGE CENTRE
Interview Advice:
For many Senior Managers or Directors, interviewing will come effortlessly and be a simple process that they have completed many times before. However, for other people, such as entrepreneurs or first-time managers, interviewing is new to them, and they have no expertise in managing the process. Italin Technologies  can coach your decision-makers on how to lead the process and portray themselves and the company in a professional, confident, and responsive manner.

The most important things to consider when interviewing are –

  • Do not keep your candidate in reception past the time of the interview.

  • Be smart and well-spoken.

  • Before the interview, make sure you’ve reviewed the candidate’s CV and taken notes on any relevant areas you want to dive into.

  • Ask ‘competency-based’ questions, such as “give me an example of…” or “explain me about…”

  • Ensure you sell your company and the opportunity.

  • If the candidate requests comments, provide an honest assessment of their performance during the interview.

Candidate experience:
Every candidate that interviews with your organisation is a valuable marketing tool – even if they are not suited for your company, ensure that you are doing the following –

  • Provide detailed feedback and advice on areas for improvement.

  • Sell your company to them and make them desire to work for you even if they lack the necessary skills.

  • Ensure that you do not keep candidates waiting for a decision – the time from first interview to offer should not exceed three weeks.

ADVICE ON PREPARING YOUR CV
Preparing your CV can be a difficult task; the essential things to consider are –

  • Keep it simple – hiring managers aren’t looking for a complex CV.

  • Ensure that your dates and titles are right – hiring managers frequently use their network and undertake informal reference checks before conducting interviews.

  • Make sure it’s on your CV if you’ve made a difference, such as “during my time at x business, I developed a product that increased company revenues by 33%.”

  • Keep your CV to a maximum of three pages, with appropriate detail for your past three employment.

  • Ensure to tailor your CV to each role you apply for, based on the experience you have that meets the requirements.
